On our last Friday in Salzburg, we went on a day trip to Wachau Valley between Salzburg and Vienna to visit Domäne Wachau Winery and Milk Abbey. Both were very fascinating! We got to see the cellars of the winery and enjoyed a wine tasting. At Melk Abbey, we toured the museum and library, and we had a private look at the books in the library. The church is gorgeous, but we weren't allowed to take pictures inside. It was a relaxing day together exploring a unique region of Austria.
